Painting Contest: Squad Edition Update #2

Another day gone and two more marines are mostly finished.  I say mostly because before I realized it, I was ready to paint the Sergeants head and remembered that I hadn't gotten all the flesh colors since I had to toss most of my paints.  At this point, the are completely done, save for his poor head.

I intend to complete one marine a day until they are all done.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick with that plan, but I plan to try.  This will let me finish by next weekend some time.  Then I can get started on the Rhino, Land Raider, and second Obliterator that go in this version of the army.  I still don't have great lighting for the pictures so I decided to take one using the normal light of the room, and one lit by my desk lamp as usual.  Neither is perfect, but if you can imagine a happy medium, then you can see what the color looks like.

 

 

Here's what is complete so far.  I think when the army is done, it will look very nice all together.

I should be able to stop by the game store tomorrow and get the colors I need for his face.  I'll make another update post with both him and the next marine in line.
